*quote of the week*

this is kind of inspired by julie kiser, who occasionally does a "name that movie quote" extravaganza on her blog, thus making me realize how many movies i have NOT yet seen...

anyways, i am a fan of quotes but never remember them long enough to write them down. hence, the new tradition to my blog: the thursday/friday "quote of the week." this week's quote:

"the whole purpose of places like starbucks is for people with no decision-making ability whatsoever to make six decisions just to buy one cup of coffee. short, tall, light, dark, caf, decaf, low-fat, non-fat, etc. so people who don't know what the [hocky sticks] they're doing or who on earth they are can, for only $2.95, get not just a cup of coffee but an absolutely defining sense of self: tall. decaf. cappuccino."

-tom hanks as joe fox in "you've got mail"
(the first of many favorite ygm quotes, i'm sure. get ready.)
