I sweep my house daily (with this).
I vacuum my house every Monday (with this).
This Dyson (still goin' strong!) is full of the contents of ONLY the living room space seen in the background. Ew. Babies aren't dirtier than THIS, are they? ;)

Oh my goodness! I was JUST thinking the SAME thing as I was vacuuming today!! I vacuum 2-3 times a week (Obsessive? Maybe. But mostly just necessary, unfortunately.) and I'm still amazed/irritated at how much fur and dander is vacuumed up each time. I don't know how I'm going to manage when the bambino arrives!
Babies are only dirtier on their clothes and in their diapers. And later in toys all over the house. I would hope that you wouldn't have to vacuum more as a result.
