I was in a wedding this past weekend of two Memphis friends that Nick and I love dearly. I forgot to snap photos of my own, but hopefully some will surface in the coming weeks that I can share. In the meantime, Nick came down with the stomach bug that Sophie Ray had last week. Poor poor Nick--I tried to take care of him as best I could, but he was mostly left to fend for his own as I rushed around to Rehearsals, Bridesmaids Brunches, and other such wedding-y events. "Be careful!" everyone warned, to which I had a ready response that I was taking my
Airborne faithfully. Lo and behold, it hit me on Sunday evening! Go figure.
This, however, afforded me the luxury of enjoying my favorite "sick day" movie: "You've Got Mail." I don't know what it is, but I desire to watch that movie anytime I am sick. (This time when I was watching, I realized that the cashier at Zabar's that won't run Meg Ryan's Visa card until Tom Hanks tells a knock-knock joke is none other than Callie from Grey's Anatomy. Random, I know, but I always love seeing stars-before-they-were-stars!)
What is YOUR favorite sick day movie?

LOL! I want to go back and look for Callie now! I love seeing them too. I also hate it when the obscure ones star in role after role on tv (like the new neighbor in desperate housewives aka girl from tombstone, etc.) and I try really hard to place them. Lifetime movies are usually where they come from... good story.
A good sick movie is like good comfort food. I would have to say Sweet Home Alabama and Annie are two of my favorites. Yes, the latter officially makes me a loser...
Hope you feel better soon!!!
Hmm...I've never thought about that. When I am sick, I usually just love to sit around watching all the shows on TV that I never usually watch! I do love You've Got Mail, and I guess I am going to have to watch it just to see Callie!
Ooo, Ash! Me too on the SHA!!! I also am a sucker for turning to How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days... or a Christmas classic
I like anything with Sandra Bullock or Julia Roberts in it. I also like Hugh Grant. (Don't laugh at me!) :)
Oh man!! I really thought that I contracted it to on Sunday night. But I never really got sick just really gross feeling for a short period of time. Who knew such a small girl would infect so many people. Sweet, sweet Sophie!
