Nick and I kicked off our 12 Days of Christmas (Movies) yesterday with "The Polar Express." Since posting about this idea originally, I have rethought the whole "lets bust our buns to make a bake a new kind of cookie every day." Am I crazy?? Sometimes, yes. After attending that fabulous Cookie Exchange party last week, we have plenty of cookies in our freezer just waiting to be brought out each day. I believe maybe we'll just nibble on those with a mug of hot chocolate every evening. That totally works.
So, if you live in Memphis (or want to take a roadtrip!) and like to watch Christmas movies, you have an open invitation to join us on any given night (or two or twelve!) for our festivities!
Here is our schedule:
- Day 1 (Wed, 12/13): The Polar Express
- Day 2 (Thurs, 12/14): How the Grinch Stole Christmas
- Day 3 (Fri, 12/15): The Family Stone
- Day 4 (Sat, 12/16): White Christmas
- Day 5 (Sun, 12/17): Miracle on 34th Street (the original)
- Day 6 (Mon, 12/18): Muppet's Christmas Carol
