in a brief thirty minutes, i will be on my way to picking up the vacuum cleaner of my dreams. that's right. the dyson dc14 animal vacuum. thank you to all our friends and family who gave us the macy's gift cards that will make this possible. and thank you God for the 20% off all housewares friends and family sale.
if you are thinking this vacuum is no big deal, then think again my friend. it is the king of household cleaning tools. it works on all floor surfaces (basically adjusting itself when it senses a difference). it is not only bagless, but it has something called root8 cyclone technology, which helps it (famously) maintain constant suction. this vacuum never dies. it's filter is washable. it can be emptied with one hand. it sucks up pet hair like you wouldn't believe. it's telescope reach wand instantly releases and expands up to 17 feet with the touch of a button.
and i'm getting one!
sorry if this post comes across in a bragging nature--it is not intended that way at all. i just LOVE new toys. and i am excited that this one will make me a better, cleaner, more efficient domestic diva! (something i am not very much of at the moment!) i'll let you know if it lives up to its lofty promises...

ummm every time the dyson designer guy comes on and does his commercial for dyson, I salivate at the mouth in awe of his cleaning design expertice. He scares some poeple, with his obsession. He states theat he spent like ten years coming up with the perfect model. Only true clean freaks can idolize and appreciate true dedication when they see it...
congratulations... let me know how it works out for you.. miss you!
Readers of Jesse's blog, as the person who shares an office with her, I have witnessed the excitement leading up to this event. You cannot imagine her glee. I am not kidding. Congratulations Jess.
