8th Day of Advent: Manger

{FOR WEDNESDAY, DEC 17th}

"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field.  When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went & sold all he had and bought that field." (Matthew 13:44)

Would you sell all you had to buy that field?  

Mary & Joseph, desperate for a place to bring the King of Kings into the world, were met with a "no."  Too busy, too full.  Sorry, go elsewhere.

If Christ came to your door today, would you have room for him in your home, in your schedule, in your finances, in your heart?  Or would life be too busy, too full...?

Let's make some room.  Let's free up our lives for the purchase of that field.
