I mean, we got engaged there, did NOT stay there together when we got engaged, but stayed there when we got married and then on our 1st anniversary (reunion tower in dallas). Sorry to be the overly-detailed clarifier, but that sounded like wrong didn't it?

I can't believe it's been a year. I was sooo pregnant and uncomfortably big at your wedding! Ours was very good. I think a lot of it had to do with the way my mom wrapped it up. She wrapped it several times in saran wrap, then wax paper, then foil, then put it in a tupperware container. I think this kept it from getting freezer burn. We let it thaw in our fridge a few days before our anniversary. So, my advice is that you've kept it for a year, you might as well try a bite.Kristinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03971986684380337809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12292273.post-31430557738374439922007-03-05T14:29:00.000-06:002007-03-05T14:29:00.000-06:00Whatever you do- do not eat the 12 month old weddi...Whatever you do- do not eat the 12 month old wedding cake in the freezer. BTW, I was PISSED. We went to Charleston a month later & counted that as our actual anniversary gift to each other. I like the idea of getting tickets to something you both like since paper is the traditional gift.Tesneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12854099582426075371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12292273.post-79558056073469778722007-03-05T11:40:00.000-06:002007-03-05T11:40:00.000-06:00We were very much not rich at one year, so we foun...We were very much not rich at one year, so we found an old school picnic basket on Ebay and planned to get Chili's to go and go on an actual real picnic with the basket and blanket and everything. The funny thing was that it rained on our anniversary, so we moved the coffee table out of the living room of our apartment and had our Chili's to go out of the basket on the blanket on our living room floor. It was still fun.
